How to use pointed tweezers safely
A simple method for ingrown hairs, splinters and facial hair.
Work in good light. Clean the skin, steam or warm-compress the area for ingrown hairs, then grip the hair as close to the skin as possible and pull in the direction of growth. Pointed tweezers are sharp — keep them away from children and do not pick at the skin.
If an ingrown is infected or painful, stop and seek medical advice. These tools are for grooming, not surgery.
